Nuclear Disarmament – We human beings didn’t face it properly for the last 77 years, since the first nuclear bombs were used and killed 200,000 people by the end of that year. And now, one of those current bombs has 3,000 times more destructive power than that time. If you have visited the Peace Memorial in Hiroshima or Nagasaki and saw any images, then you wouldn’t have any hope for an after-bomb world.
We have been thinking “No, I never thought that Russia could do this.. ” – in the last 4 weeks, the fear is made real.
核軍縮について、人類はこの77年間、真剣な話し合いをしてこなかった。その間に、核爆弾の威力はだんだん強大になり、今では1945年に広島と長崎に投下されたものに比べて3000倍の破壊力がある、とレポートされています。1945年の年末までに20万人が亡くなった広島と長崎の原爆資料館で、当時の写真や記録を見たことがある人なら、あんな恐ろしいものが3000倍になって降った後の世界に希望を持てる人は数少ないんじゃないかな。
ロシアのウクライナ侵攻が始まって以来、「まさか、ロシアが本当にこんな行動に出るとは、、」という場面に何度も出くわしていることを考えると、かなり背筋が凍るのはわたしだけではないと思います。
