These arches with a distinctive shape are above capitals – they look oriental. I wonder if the original location of this picture has roots from Roman or Islamic architecture… could be Phoenician influence? The history of Algiers is a fascinating and brutal miniature of the Mediterranean Sea through a long period.

アーチの弓なりな形が楕円の半分よりも大きく、柱頭の上で一旦広がるような形。これはオリエントに由来がある形に見えますが、当たっていますか？古代ローマ時代の遺産がイスラム化されたのか、もしかするともっと前のフェニキア人の影響だって残っているかもしれない。アルジェという都市の歴史は地中海のたどった道の縮図のようです。
