Marinid decoration

5 April 1952, Morocco
design & engrave: A. Delpy

This capital is from the Marinid Sultanate from mid 13th to 15th century. During Almohad and Marinid era, Morocco was ruled by North African indigenous Imazighen (or Berbers) people and the architectural decorations are different from the Arab tradition. I want to visit and see these capitals with repeated spirals.
