Another longhorn beetle which is native to Japan, it lives in the forest with Beech and Walnut trees. Their significant blue tone varies from light blue to lapis lazuli, and that appearance is known to fade rapidly into brown when the insect dies. It is an ephemeral blue – only captured by eyes and photos.
