This set is celebrating the Turkish Maritime school in Istanbul. I thought this is a kind of mythical creature first, then realise that ship anchor with Turkish symbol on top.

I visited Istanbul for the first time last year.  Beautiful view it has, surrounded by oceans – it is an important place between Europe and Asia.

この2枚はイスタンブールの海事学校の50年を記念したものです。最初は神話の動物？と思っていた図案は、船の錨とトルコのシンボルの月と星のマークでした。

イスタンブールには昨年初めて行き、海に囲まれた美しい眺望を堪能しました。アジアとヨーロッパをつなぐ要所なのは間違いないです。
