In Epping forest near London, snow has fallen about 20cm high today.  There were two boys bravry making an igloo on a golf course in the forest – but they did not have art to complete round roof, unfortunately.

This stamp shows ordinary life in cold Greenland, igloo making, hunting and sledge sliding, with clean and warm lines.

雪が20センチほど積もった今日、ロンドン東のエッピング・フォレストのゴルフコースで、少年2人がイグルーを作っているのを見ました。ただ、丸い屋根を積み上げる技術がなく、壁だけで諦めていたのが残念。

このグリーンランドの切手には、極寒の地の人々の暮らしがすっきりした暖かい絵柄で描かれています。
