2003Switzerland001

30 december 2003 Switzerland
design: Susanne Perron and W. Mohrle

I am a fan of traditional gum stamps and enjoy licking/watering back of them.  I am against easiness or laziness of self adhesive stamps, as well as its tactile feeling – somehow thick and plastic, aren’ they?  Moreover, it is not nice to remove from envelopes. But if the motief of a stamp is interesting or its design is good, I collect them, put on transparent sheet.

This potate peeler is their National pride in Switzerland and I think it deserves it.  I buy them at supermarket in airport on my way back from Switzerland, because they are the best in this function and very reasonable.  Stamp design is not very good, though.
